Bend ahead to the right
Sharp right-hand bend ahead. Reduce your speed before you reach it, not in the middle of the bend. Position yourself slightly to the left of your lane on the approach for a better view. This sign is common on rural A and B roads, country lanes, and approaches to junctions where the through-road curves. In hazard perception it tests whether you anticipate the bend and adjust speed and position early.
