National speed limits apply
A white circle with a black diagonal line — sometimes called the 'derestriction' sign. It means the standard national speed limit for the road type now applies: 60 mph on a single carriageway, 70 mph on a dual carriageway or motorway, less for vans, lorries and vehicles towing trailers. It does not mean 'no speed limit'.
