Vehicles exceeding 14′-6” in height prohibited

A red circle with a vehicle silhouette and the height limit. Exceeding the limit physically can't be done safely — you'll hit the obstruction. Lorries, double-deckers and recovery vehicles need to plan an alternative route. Imperial measurements are still standard on UK road signs.
